Is it too Risky for an outside reception?!?
I'm getting married on April 10th in Alabama, and I realllllly want to have my reception outside; however, I'm concerned about the weather. It is really warm in Alabama in April, but it rains almost everyday. The place I would want to have it is really covered, and I would also put up a huge tent with sides. Would you do it, or would you try to find somewhere inside?
It's better to be safe than sorry.
Your wedding day will unfortunately bring you many worries, however, the last thing you want a worry to be is something that you have no control over.
What I would do is probably try to have it somewhere where we can utilize both outdoor and indoor space. Maybe have your cocktail hour outdoors and later utilize the space again after the wedding dinner/lunch for socializing.
This way your covered (no pun intended) either way.
