I was cycling home in the bay area San Fransisco when I saw bike patrol with no police department markings.?
Yes no San Fransisco Police Department markings on the person or bike just curvilain clothes with a 30 ltr pack. He had Niterider Digital police system lights flashing blue and red, siren screaming and a very bright tail light. He was heading towards Golden gate brigde in a hurry. Do police bike patrol do undercover work, its very unusal to see them without hi viz markings, looked very strange indeed.
Bike Patrols must be properly marked and the users must be in proper uniforms and only undercover agents are authorized not to have signs and civilian clothes.
